Anyone end up buying their Grenadier order

There is a wealth of activity in the D5 forum but I ended up in the D4 forum because this thread about the Ineos Grenadier caught my eye. Grenadiers were ubiquitous at Overland Expo in Flagstaff, AZ 2 weeks ago. I'd be tempted to order one if they weren't so pricey. I apologize if my defense...

Anyone end up buying their Grenadier order

If the market was always right, we'd all be Jeep Sheep. Niche vehicle drivers don't give a rat's onager about the market.

Anyone end up buying their Grenadier order

Diesels are impervious to environmental heat. I became a diesel fanatic during a six-month tour as a UN Military Observer in Western Sahara. We could be sitting in our UN Nissan Patrol diesels with the outside air temp at 135° F with AC on max, and the idling engine temp never got above mid...

Anyone end up buying their Grenadier order

My D5 HSE Td6 (I ordered it in December 2016) was my first Land Rover experience and, as a non-member of "the tribe" who prefers driving niche vehicles, I couldn't be happier with it. It's the quintessential fusion of comfortable high-speed motoring and apocalyptic off-road capability equaling...

    shopping for D5

I have to agree, but that doesn't bother me, as I prefer to drive niche vehicles. The Discovery 5 (my first Land Rover) was evidently too much of a paradigm shift for Land Rover purists.

    GAP IID Tool help urgent

Seriously? I'm also in NV and had no trouble ordering one from https://www.gap-diagnostic.com/shop/ in 2019 (order No. 5926), including free shipping. BTW, the price has only gone up $8 since I order mine.

    shopping for D5

We've had no maintenance problems with our 6.5-year-old D5 HSE Td6 and couldn't be happier with it. It's the quintessential fusion of comfortable freeway cruising (26+ mpg at 80mph) with apocalyptic off-road capability (equal to the new Defender--including 35" wading depth--except for approach...

    Cabin Air Filter

I haven't seen any threads or posts on how to change the Discovery 5 (L462) cabin air filter. Anyone have info? Thanks!

    Disco 5 Oil Change

Not a bad idea, but there should be separate threads for the SIL and Td6 engines, since the oil specifications and filter change procedures are completely different. It sounds like the 16k interval is the only similarity. I also do supplemental oil changes in my Td6 in the middle of that interval.

    Discovery 5 Air Suspension

I wondered the same thing but don't have the answer. roverparts.com should know if LR140034 comes with LR 140035. I may call them or my dealer out of curiosity.

    Discovery 5 Air Suspension

Update. Part # LR140035 is apparently not available at roverparts.com. When searching their web site for LR140035, the result defaults to LR140034, which IS the compressor and is described as "Original Equipment by AMK," selling for $995.95. Amazon sells it for $859.11 (with free shipping)...

    Discovery 5 Air Suspension

Thanks for the Part #, and no clue as to why roverparts.com apparently has it confused with with the compressor. Amazon has the genuine OEM part for $75 (with free shipping) and I ordered it to have on hand in case I ever have Ukdarren68's problem.

    Discovery 5 Air Suspension

That part looks like an air supply chamber but roverparts.com calls it a compressor and sells it for $995.
