ABS malfunction

"96 Discovery ABS light come on and the brakes work fine. Light goes out and ABS kicks in when brakes are applied and it is difficult to stop.. WHAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED??:help:

Could be a bad ABS sensor, the D1 ABS isn't the best in the world to start with. My 1997 Disco I pulled the ABS Fuse 30amp under the hood and then removed the ABS light in the Dash never to have an ABS issue in the 10 years I drove mine.

Could also be the ABS Module, the dealer will probably tell you its vin specific. They are lying or just don't know how to do it. We have the parts you would need to be replaced for a good price. Check us out!
