2015 the new discovery

There is now a new ad-hoc web site up for the Discovery "family", I imagine announcements and previews will be officially posted there: http://newageofdiscovery.landrover.com/int

Apparently, Land Rover has nothing to announce in Geneva (that motor show is in full swing as we speak) other than this pulled teaser video, but may reveal a bit more at an auto show in the near future, perhaps New York at the end of April. Would make sense if they used NY to launch a new baby Discovery, since the Range Rover Evoque was introduced there as well.

Ah, now I see where the design chat came from - interesting. Yeah, it's tough to tell what this all means, since the Discovery will likely include at least a couple different vehicles.

Another article about the changes for the Freelander. It also states that a Freelander replacement is due in early 2015. It doesn't make sense to me that they would do a mid-year refresh and then launch a brand new model the next model year a short time later.
