As I keep an eye out for my next, 3rd, 4 and in no rush to add to my fleet I have a few on my radar.

For the record, I've had '11 & '13 LUX with CC, RSE, Vision. The '13 was certified.

Thoughts good or bad? Keep in mind my goal is 35k should I make the leap.

All are white my 1st choice
All 1 owner if memory serves

2011 LUX 19700 miles, cold climate, $35k

2012 LUX 62200 miles, cold climate, RSE, $35k

2012 LUX 57000 miles, cold climate, certified, $38k

2012 LUX 49700 miles, cold climate, RSE, certified, 42k

The last one is local all others I'll have travel or shipping costs to consider.

Plan 'B' - find 09 LUX with decent miles...

Interesting mix that doesn't lend itself to a slam dunk choice. Ordinarily the low mileage 2011 would be looking good but it has now timed-out of warranty coverage and is not CPO. Price looks pretty good though given the low miles. You'd also be giving up the BT audio streaming and the updated entertainment/navi that came in '12.

If I had to choose one just based on what is shown, I'd probably still go with the 2011 (minor bias since I bought a pre-owned 2011 2 yrs ago and have been very happy with it).

Agree on the '11 at 5k a year.. it's hardly been driven. Updated NAV would be nice, but overall LR infotainment is lacking..

Certified is a plus, but the more I read, the more it seems it's wear and tear items that are the issue.

Side note, I found a Certified 2012 Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid with 52k - $35300 - 20 city / 24 hwy

Got an 11' LUX HD with 70K miles and love it.

That being said, I would go with a CPO just in case. Would love to have the upgraded infotainment system in the 12+ models even if it wasn't as good as other cars that age. Sad how bad our system is.

I've only used the warranty for a new Sat Nav unit and antenna because XM was dropping signal way too often compared to my other cars. I sleep well at night knowing I have it. Need to start looking for after warranty coverage soon.

Still no decision on my part, still lQQking.

The '12 certified LUX with 49k miles has dropped to $39,950

Added to radar is a '14 LUX no HD pack, 25k miles, black pack, vision assist. It stated at 46,900 now down to 45,497. PA vehicle

Also came across dealer maintained 09 LR3 LUX and in nice shape. Dealer reviews are iffy. Was 22k dropped to 19,900. It been on the lot about 2 months now. 88k miles. SC/GA vehicle.

Leary of 09 tho.…USAA warranty would run about 3k for 12-12 policy.

Either way, on future decisions, the 3/4 I choose will be sent over to the local LR dealer for a full review.

Just purchased a low mileage ' 08 LR3 HSE 2 weeks ago. This should fill the void for a bit.

Very nice, that red color was very rare back then. I still like that wheel design the best and I'm glad I have a set that I use for winter tires. Looks like the black plastic is in great shape after 8 years. Must have used lots of 303 Aerospace protectant.

We still miss the LR3...sure the LR4 is faster but somehow I drove safer in the LR3 knowing it's acceleration limits. Kids still miss the grab handles that were so nicely integrated into the sides of the front seat headrests.

Could you help me out on the warranty? I've considered this path, but was usure. I am a USAA member. They were willing to warranty an 09? And another ignorant question - 12-12...what is that? Thanks for the help
