They rub and knock off the balancing tabs so I need to get them balance with the bags

Those of you with the 265/65r18 Duratracs: how have they held up, considering the "lower" load rating being used with the heavy LR3/4?

Duratracks 265/65r18 tested them a bit on mud and sand they did great had to air down on sand but they got me to were I wanted to be. I run them on 40 psi anything less and it feels like a water bed very mushy. Love the tire.

They actually have a higher load rating than the OEM size at 114. They do great.
They have a lower speed rating (S).
You'll have to run them at 40psi or more on road (I do 44). I haven't had to air down on sand (even deep and soft) but I have aired down for better comfort in rocks.

Just curious what you air down to for sand? I go all the way down to 18 psi on my Nitto Dune Grapplers.

Looking for some 18 inch wheels for my LR4 and I am only seeing the compomotive as an option. What are yours? Do you have spacers or a lift or just stock?

Had the rims powder coated, used 1.35 spacer hub centric, had to grind the calipers. Runs great but the tires rub on the frame.

I'm running Johnson rods full time. Have to see if I can still lift the front one more inch without getting the suspension fault but that's more of a esthetic option. Getting a rear tire carrier build for it next week. This week tactical rovers rocksliders

Looks great and sets it apart from most of the 18inchers that are rocking the compomotives. I may however join that crowd, as I am concerned with the hassle of battling the rub. Was hoping to not have to grind, trim, or judo kick much to make it work. With compomotives and 265/65/18s does it still require spacers or the rod swap? Or just one or the other?
My other option was keeping my stock 20s and using the spacers and rods to fit some 285/50/20s or 275/55/20s. I know most on this forum would recommend the 18s but I don't do a lot of off roading and I already have the 20s that are in need of new rubber anyways.

opinions, comments, insults?
