I have a 04 freelander, I have a very bad shake when I hit the gas but goes away when I release the gas. What could cause this to happen. I've had the tires balanced an it still does it. Please help.

First is this shake only when moving? or does it shake when in park and going no where?

If moving check your driveline i.e. U-Joints they may be going bad.

If I let it idle it doesn't shake at all. But as soon as I start driving an hit 50 it starts to shake bad. If it's only me in it the passenger seat shakes like crazy.

Shaking at a specific speed is normally a bad tire or balance issue. Since you say this has already been done I would check to make sure your drive shaft isn't about to come apart at the UJoints. Drive line vibration isn't a good thing.
