Hi all,

For the folks who have the power folding side view mirrors: does your passenger side mirror close faster than the driver's side?

My driver side is much slower to close (fold) when the door is locked.

Worth taking in for a fix?

I never paid much attention to them, but they seem to fold / unfold at about the same speed.

Mine fold and unfold at about the same speed. I know I originally wondered if mine had an issue because they slightly tough the window - but I guess that's normal.

The passenger side mirror has less distance to travel also. Its angled in towards the door more to start with.

My driver side one started to be slower, now is slower and making a squeaky sound. Looking to see if there is any lubrication needed. If not, will take to dealer. I have 22K miles so far.

I could see the mirror in the housing being tilted more to accomodate where the driver is sitting, but not the housing itself being tilted in more.

I'd expect the housings to sit in the same place. Keeps the vehicle symmetrical, and also makes it so you don't have to manufacture/stock different side mirror housings depending on whether the vehicle is left hand or right hand drive.
