LR3 Custom Sleeping Platform

I just got my LR3 Saturday. The first things I did was put together a sleeping platform and got some new Copper Zeon ATRs put on. Many more mods to come. Attached are some pictures of the finished platform. Can't wait to take advantage of it on a cross country trip coming up!

Just typed up a more in depth post but lost it due to internet issues, will retype again soon.

brilliant! it seems well more comfortable than what I do which is just trowing a sheet there and sleeping on it :stupid:

That's great! I like the storage underneath the bed. Means you don't have to unpack your entire car at night. I have seen platforms before, but not ones that fold up with the seats like yours. Nice!

FYI - I have seen nice overhead storage in high vehicles like ours that you may be interested in. Tie a line between both sets of grab handles and run it through a piece of PVC pipe. So, you have a rigid line/pipe going between the passenger windows and another at either the 3rd row or drivers row. You now have a nice place to put surf boards, paddles or fishing poles well above your head.
