I changed t-stat to 180*f, re-routed throttle body heater and got rid of dexcool. Now using universal. Flushing motor is a pain in the ass

Couple questions??

How did you do the coolant flush? Did you use distilled water, tap water? Did you drain from the bottom hose flush from the top? Thanks. Oh where did you dispose of the dexcool? I'm about to tackle this job at the end of the week.

I drained from lower radiator hose and filled with tap water numerous times until it was clear. Then used 50-50 green and trained that numerous times until the dilution was eliminated. I then used regular peak (not 50-50) to get my desired concentration level (using a peak antifreeze bulb). Took 4hrs to dilute water from Orange to green. I didn't want to mess with freeze plugs
