I have been on the fence about ordering some compos and have pretty much decided to stick with my 20's for now but tire sizing is an issue. I had a tire shop try a 275/55/20 in the front yesterday and it barely cleared the control arm but looked like it would probably rub the frame on the back side. I have an IIDtool and it seems if I ran about 20mm higher I may be ok, but wanted to keep stock height if I could. Not sure if running higher full time with the tool is recommended or if Johnson rods are better? Seems it is essentially the same thing isn't it?
Anyone running 275/55/20 with stock wheels and no spacers, or what about 285/50/20s?
