Some dirty pics of my new 18" Compos and BFG KO2's

Couldn't be happier with this combo!

Looks awesome! I am finlayforprez on Instagram and see Steve on there as well. :)

I have the KOs, but just got the KOs in 265/65R18. Is that the size you have?

They look great and I am looking forward to the updates to an already awesome tire that has been very good to me!

I just got the KO2s on Saturday and so far LOVE them on the road and the very little dirt road I have done. I had the old KOs for over a year and they were great, so looking forward the improvements. I have to say, they definitely look better!

Great tires! What made you decide to switch after only a year on the KO's?

I got a good deal on the KO2s at the 4Wheel Parts truck show and decided to just get new ones. I have a home for my old KOs to some rover club members.

Why does it look so narrow? Maybe it's just the angle, but mine seems wider? I had to contact John over at Baja because I had wondered why my finish was so matte compared to some of the others I have seen that are more satin/semi-gloss. He told me they started using a new coating, but I feel like mine was not coated properly. It has faded and has some rust spots - very odd.

May look narrower because of the effect of the camera lens looking head on. Look how wide the front of the vehicle looks compared to the back.

I think it's a perception thing. It does widen towards the back or I should say the vehicle narrows more to the back.

The finish is a matte finish with no shine at all, maybe the wind faring is more of a semi-gloss, but still not "shiny".

This thing is rugged to say the least.
I am going to mount my water containers this weekend.

So I've had a busy week with some add ons. The list and then the pics!
1. Traxide dual battery install
2. Fuse block in the rear cargo area
3. Extra 12V always hot port and convert the stock port to always hot
4. Added a port for the fridge on the passenger side
5. Installed a Yaesu 8800 HAM radio and antenna. Brain under the passenger seat, faceplate will be mounted on the center console. Waiting for a piece to mount it. Antenna on the lift gate.
6. Changed the front passenger 12V port to a dual USB port (not yet working tho)
