Not sure have you downloaded the RAVE manual and looked through the wiring diagram?

Looks like a harness to me, rather than a single wire, but hard to tell from the photo.

Hello again,
After some hands on digging around I see that wire is actually shifter cable to the transfer case.
Seems like now would be a good time to activate my CDL.
I have seen the Lucky8 install video.
Some say the same can be achieved by installing a D1 shifter.
Would any year D1 work to get the CDL working on my 99 DII?
