Hi everyone, So i'm on my 7th Range, I got this one for a steal, It has a loud engine tapping noise when idle, Cant really hear it when your going, But I am wondering if there is any solution to quiet this noise without doing anything major. Its annoying and head turning and I want it gone. I just did a complete tune up, new coils, plugs, Oil change but its still there, My mechanic says it has to do with the timing of the engine. So he's suggesting that i replace the engine but it seems to run strong. it has almost 200k miles on it so its getting old but i need your help.
