So I read they updated the front differential breather for LR019450, my LR3 has got the old one, should I bother updating it or is there no real difference?

How can one tell if the installed breather is old or updated?

Open your bonnet and check it, if it looks like this one it is the old one, otherwise you've got the updated version.
You can google the part number for an idea of what the new one looks like

Thank you. Mine was the old style so I just ordered the update.
My rig is 2009 but it looks like the TSB didn't come out until 2009.
I kinda expected to have the update. Crazy it took LR pretty much the entire production run to issue the TSB and updated part.

woow I thought they updated it in late 2007 or something! Anyhow when you get the part remember to make the cut facing towards the rear.

Definitely worth changing, simple and inexpensive.
