So i bought the hi-lift mount from baja for their rack. however the base of the high-lift hits the rack. they seem clueless to this. the mount is angled the the high lift hits it at the top...

Interesting, I was literally just about to order that mount for my rack and decided to pop over here to check with you guys on a recommendation on what hi-lift to get. Suggestion, couldn't you just move the mounts back towards the rear to where the base is just passed the back corner of the rack? So what hi-lift do you guys recommend and where did you order it?

Mine does it slightly but I put a piece of rubber. It barely touched it.

Do you still have my number - you should text me. I can give you the low down on this rack and any issues.

It looks like Nick has a 60" version, but it should fit the same... Looks the same as mine actually... Just put a piece of rubber there where it touches.

I almost got the 60", but honestly, you would never want to lift it that high - the 48" Hi Jack is standard and would suit all your needs.

Just remember the Hi Lift needs to be used right and only in certain situations, or it can be dangerous - especially our rigs do not have many jacking points. If you have the Tactical 4x4 rock sliders, those can be used, as well as an ARB front bumper and the Kaymar rear bumper has Hi Lift jacking points. Most times you would want to use a bottle jack to change tires, etc. Bottle jacks are much easier, but a Hi Lift can be really helpful for "just in case".
