I picked up a HSE about a week ago. I'm really impressed with how it rides and how quiet it is. No road noise, wind noise, and surprisingly very little engine noise. You only hear the supercharger when getting on it. Both acceleration and braking are super smooth as well. It's a lot of fun to drive. It leans a little on corners being so high up but not too bad. The Meridian sound system is ok but could be better. Sound on HD radio isn't nearly as good as my Pacifica minivan which doesn't have the upgraded sound system. Also while the Incontrol system works fine they need to add more options and improve the interface. Some of the buttons are small which is strange as the screen has plenty of room to make them bigger. When you are listening to radio it doesn't show you your favorites to easily change stations. Little annoyances like that here and there but nothing that is a deal breaker. The steering wheel is thin feeling which even my mini van feels much better than this. Even my wife pointed out how strange it was to have such a thin streering wheel. The car cools off quickly and the cooled seats work very well. I will be towing a 6000lb camper in a week so I'm nervously excited to see how it handles. The system that sets speed and manages engine braking was a nice feature I didn't realize it had. Seats are comfortable but a tad firm on the bottom as pointed out in some reviews. We looked at almost every SUV on the market before deciding on this and I've owned models such as Jeep Grand Cherokees, Hummer H2/H3, Escalade, etc. and this blows them all away with how composed it is for such a capable vehicle. You can't even compare this to a Volvo XC90 which has noticeable road noise and is underpowered and limited to 5K towing. Hopefully LR will tweak Incontrol a bit to improve it but otherwise there isn't much I would change.
