Well I think I have scoured most of the archived forums and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I would like to find a front bumper guard, grille guard or some type of "cow catcher" for my2015 LR4. I absolutely do not care for the OEM VPLAP0022. There seems to be a very limited resource for this type of accessory. Any recommendations would be appreciated. (hoping Umbertob will chime in!)

VPLAP0022 is plastic junk. Doesn't help with anything.
What are your goals for it? Protection? Light mounts? Winch?
Most "Brush Guards" are exactly that, will keep a branch off your headlights but that is it. If you hit anything, including animals, they just damage more. They will take out headlights, front grill, dent the hood, etc.
If you want something to protect from animal strike and even minor traffic bumps, get a bull bar.
Options for Bull bars:
Tactical Rovers (Tactical 4x4)
ARB Summit bar (For 2014+, however it *should* work on older models, I'm putting on on my 2013 soon, its on order)
Lucky8 should have one soon I think.

I may have to consider the ARB, that seems to be the one I prefer so far.

i should have a lot more info and photos of the arb summit bar soon. in theory it arrives mid-october. im putting a zeon platinum 10s and the 9.5"arb intensity lights on it.
i agree on the t44 front bumper. i have the t44 rear and skids and sliders, but the arb is much more polished as an overall product.

I have the Summit bar on my 2013 now, they say its made for 2014+ models which would work for you guys.
I still think it is the best option unless you are looking for a pure rock crawling bumper. The t44 and lucky8 bumpers probably are tighter into the front, but have less room, less ventilation and fewer features than the ARB. And they also seem to just be garage engineered. I doubt they ever even had any type of automotive engineer or cad designer touch their designs, let alone crash testing and all the regulations required in Australia. The ARB does cost more, but I think you get what you pay for in this case.
