Do you have that annoying "exhaust drone" sound while cruising at low RPM's? I think the possibility of that result is what's keeping me from doing the muffler delete. My loaner was an F Pace when the LR4 was in the shop and the exhaust note on that vehicle was amazing. Would love to duplicate that!
mbw,
thanks for the thorough reply. I've considered removing the turtle but the sound clips on Youtube are not good enough for me to consider hacking up the system. I guess I'd have to hear it in person.
Regarding the loaner F-Pace, I did not notice an actuator button for an exhaust type...
I Had to take the MY15 LR4 to the dealer for a rear pinion seal leak. They provided me an F-Pace loaner. The exhaust note on that vehicle was awesome. Nice and quiet when cruising but when you nailed it, a nice deep throaty sound. Anyway, my question, is there an exhaust system for the LR4 that...
Since UMBERTOB taught me how to read an online catalogue properly:D, I ordered the Porterfield R4-S pads for the LR4. I have them on MY12 RRS and they are fantastic, very low dust but a slight squeal when cold (from the rears).
Failure on my part. I just didn't dig deep enough. You and Jaguardoc are correct, Porterfield R4-S pads are the same for both applications. Thanks for the tune up! (MY12 is a N/A by the way)
I'm so disappointed that Porterfield doesn't produce front pads for the LR4. I have them on MY2012 RRS and absolutely love them.
I have been doing research overload on front pads and was looking for purchasing feedback on the following: EBC Green,Hawk LTS, and Hawk Performance Ceramic. The...
mbw,
thanks for the info and links. Yes, animal protection is mainly what I'm looking for. I should have mentioned that originally. I don't care for the one from Tactical.
I may have to consider the ARB, that seems to be the one I prefer so far.
Well I think I have scoured most of the archived forums and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I would like to find a front bumper guard, grille guard or some type of "cow catcher" for my2015 LR4. I absolutely do not care for the OEM VPLAP0022. There seems to be a very limited resource for...
Here's another choice Porterfield R4-S. I have them on all 4 corners on the RRS with stock rotors. Very little dust, and I mean very little. Phenomanal stopping power with minimal pedal pressure. Have a slight tendency to squeak at crawling speeds, but the no dust trade off is worth it.
