Air to Coil conversion but..no traction control?

You definitely have an issue going on. If the Terrain Response module was installed correctly with the coil kit, you should have access to all of the Terrain Response features, including hill descent. Get that fixed, an LR3 is not an LR3 without Terrain Response.

    Bluetooth Upgrades

I have one of these as well, and it's a bit spotty. Some days it's fine, other days it drops connection, plays static, and choppy audio. Couple reboots of the phone and the car usually fix it. Could be the BT unit, or could be my phone, I'm not sure. All in all, it's a nice upgrade, albeit a...

    Vibration and grinding feeling

For what it's worth, I ran some Duratracs on a Bronco i had a while back. Didn't rotate them enough and they quickly started vibrating and chopping all over the road. Of course, the Bronco is a massive truck, so the uneven wear isn't surprising. My point is: those Duratracs are soft, and go...

Looking for advice on taking a stock LR3 up a notch to be a bit more capable

For what it's worth, I've got a 265/65/18 K02 (deflated very low) in the stock spare location, and I'm still able to fit the LR trailer hitch. I do carry a portable smittybilt compressor with me though, and I've removed the rear exhaust plastic shield

Looking for advice on taking a stock LR3 up a notch to be a bit more capable

No no no, just the opposite. i wrote that really poorly. Apologies. My LR3 has never failed to deliver on any trail i have ever attempted. It's absolutely brilliant off road. I just thoughtfully pick my lines, and trust the Terrain Response system to do it's job. 265/65/18's are perfect for...

Looking for advice on taking a stock LR3 up a notch to be a bit more capable

I'm running 265/65/18 K02's, Tactical sliders, GAP IID Tool, and a lot of common sense. This truck has never failed to get me where I am trying to go. <---EDIT: My LR3 is a boss.

    Should I take the plunge?

Didn't read this whole thread, but my two cents: An "off road vehicle" without low range is not an "off road vehicle". Carry on....

Planning on swapping trans pan and fluid change...low profile torx recommendations?

I don't recall removing the cross member when we swapped my filter and fluid out with the AB kit. IIRC, the most nerve wracking part was hacksawing the filter tube off the old one to get it out. You definitely don't want to gouge any metal with the blade inside the trans itself.

Ha! finally I have a "known issue" to fix on the LR3 - rear tailgate latch switch

Mine failed as well, although it was stuck closed, and it was in August in Tennessee. I crawled around back there for about 30 mins in 100 degree heat trying to get that hatch open and said "to hell with this". I swallowed my pride and took to our indy LR guy to fix it for me.

Coilover reflash Have no Terrain control

I know on the Atlantic British kit there is an obd module you have to plug up and run to regain TC after the spring conversion. Not sure if this is available as a stand alone, but maybe start there? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

    Tpms

I had constant bad luck with the replacement set I bought from Discount. After a year of a constant warning light, i finally found the cash to buy an IID Tool. Literally the first thing I did was disable the TPMS system. Best thing ever.

LR4 Transmission oil change... mixed feelings.

I did my fluids on my 2008 LR3 a while back at around 80,000 miles. The old fluids looked fine as well, but I just didn't want to risk it. A transmission failure on this truck would immediately mean I'd need to sell it, and I'd lose loads of money. There's no way I'm willing to put a $6000 -...

Potential Purchase of 05 LR3 with issues

At that price if the rest of the truck is in decent enough shape, you could part it out and make some money if the transmission is shot. Of course, you'd have $1500 ******* for a bit.

    Speakers not working

Probably your Harmon kardon amp went out. Mine does this from time to time so I'm sure I'll have to replace mine before too long... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
