05 LR3 driver door wont open from interior but will from exterior

How to remove instrument cluster LR3?
I have a pdf from the repair manual that shows how to do it. You basically remove the stuff around the steering column and access appears to be pretty easy. I haven't done this but everything else I have ever done around the dash area is just un-clipping a lot of clips and some torx head...
