Odd LR4 Noises

Coming from Audi's some the high pressure fuel pumps had Cam followers later replaced by a roller system on the fuel pumps piston. Is the LR ones similar in regards to it being a roller?

The first time I heard this I thought my engine was going for an overhaul...LOL

I had the second noise you describe happen quite often one month, checked and found the cabin air filter was drenched with water and had a lot of debris in it. After replacing the filter the noise now happens less frequently. I assume this is because if the filter can't pass air as well the system tries to equalize the pressure more often. Something to check out! always good to keep that filter clean anyways.
