Lots of forums on headlight replacements, but many are outdated. I need to replace my 2012 LR4 low beams. Want good look, but good visibility is more important. So which bulb--Philips Crystal Vision Ultra, Philips X-treme vision, Sylvania Silver Star Ultra or Sylvania SilverStar zXe?

do you have HID D3s bulbs? my 2010 one of the low beam d3s bulbs is dim. I am looking for replacements at the moment. These d3s bulbs are crazy expensive. not sure if I should change both at the same time.

Stay away from Sylvania Silverstar Ultras. I burned through 2 sets of those in less then a year. I now use them for my high beams and fogs, not low beams.

Very good, bright light, but burn out in months.

I tried lots of bulbs trying to achieve a slightly whiter look to match the LED's, this is the best option I found. These are H9 but fit H11 with a quick trim of connector tab. Blue tint but higher wattage so no loss of light, also great warranty. I bought a set of LED fog lights through the @carid website. While the color was a nice white, the actual output of light was total ****. The stock bulbs put out far more. I basically threw them in the trash and purchased Phillips Diamonds from Amazon.

Putting LED lights in a housing designed for a halogen bulb is a very bad idea.

Yes LED's light output is not focused and blinds oncoming drivers, I highly suggest H9 bulbs with 65 watts output and blue tint. You'll get the whiter look and higher output compared to tinted H11. Does not change the factory light pattern.
