Blind spot monitoring

Hello all!
I just picked up a 2016 LR4 Lux. The only thing it didn't have was the vision package unfortunately. I am mostly interested in the blind spot monitoring. Any idea if I can simply replace the mirror housing and it would work or is there more to it? Can the dealer install the package?

I'm not an expert but I think that the blind spot monitoring operates off of a rear bumper mounted sensor that aims outboard. Therefore I don't believe it's a simple matter of the mirror. I'd suspect a dealer could instal that kind of feature however. It makes sense that if a vehicle got damaged in a collision they could replace parts and restore features so I can't imagine that they couldn't simply replace necessary parts. The question then becomes a matter of investment versus return.
