My rear driver side passenger door unlock is sticking. it takes several time with the unlock button to eventualy get the door to unlock. I wanted to remove the door panel and take a look at it to see it this could be an easy fix. The land rover dealer closest to me doesnt have loaners and the next closest has them but just wanted to see if this could be fixed rather then waste two days. Thanks for any help.

i figured it out.

There is one screw behind the door unlock pull covered by a circle cap.

There are two phillips screws behind the chrome trim pieces on each side of the arm rest door pull. pry these up from bottom and they will pop off.

There are two phillips one on each side of door at bottom. They are recessed about an inch or more into the plastic molding.

After you remove five screws I pulled at bottom of door where cup holder is and began separating door panel from door.

This was for the rear passenger door. I assume the front doors are very similar.

I could not find the problem with my door lock. I will end up taking to the dealer for warranty.

Thanks,

On 2011 LR4 HSE Lux there was an annoying bass rattle coming from the wood inlay on the rear right door. Tapping, I could feel that the wood inlay was just a bit loose. Once I figured out how to remove the chrome pieces (thanks ElJefe!) it was pretty easy to remove the door panel, remove the wood inlay, and apply Dynamat to the back. Now everything feels nice and tight!

Hi Eljefe,

I have the same problem with the rear passenger side door lock. What was the fix?
My car is still under factory warranty do I need to take it to the dealerships or it is a quick fix that I can do myself?

Thanks
