Nice job

Topic of off set -

I have 08 LR3 with 19s and from what I've read they have a 53 offset. How important is it to stay close to that oddest with a 20 wheel option, and I'll be sticking with a LR4 period rim.

Thx

AFAIK, all LR3 and LR4 (and 2006-2013 RRS) OEM wheels have got that same ET53 offset, regardless of size (18 to 20" included), so that should be a moot point. :)

The 18" Compos have a 44 mm offset - even they couldn't stick with the original Land Rover offset on their wheel while managing to clear the front calipers of the LR4 - but that's only a negligible, 1/3" difference. To get a 18" OEM wheel off an LR3 to fit the LR4, you'd need to add 31 mm / 1.25" spacers as you probably know. Still not a big deal, although you should probably get an alignment as a result of the increase track width.

No, sorry. I ordered my PD1880 directly from Compomotive UK in 2013, there wasn't much of a choice back then... Make sure the special price from Johnson Rods is still valid.

Thanks for letting me know. The offset for the 20s it listed at 43 hoping that's okay.

I will indeed get an alignment.

Curious as to why an alignment? Spacers don't change the angles involved, so what's the increased track width got to do with it?

Oops meant 285/50

Thoughts too wide?

I had 265 50 on my '11 LR4 and had a nice stance.

Anyone have rear end picture of 285s installed?

Planning same rims as my previous '11 pictured below.
