There's no way I would put up with that on a brand new vehicle. If it came down to it, I would Lemon Law it. Of course, only after exhausting all options with the dealer. Perhaps email LR NA and see if they are willing to work with you.

As far as the issue at hand: The only thing I would think to check at this point is the pistons on the calipers. The point of more pistons is for even pressure distribution between pad and rotor. You said they have replaced rotors and pads multiple times, but have they thoroughly gone over the caliper assembly and pistons / pressure checks?

I'd demand they replace the entire caliper assemblies. If THAT doesn't work.. no idea *** it could be. Lemon time then.

We have heavy vehicles that take lots of friction (heat) to stop.

I have never had one of my daily drivers (me as the driver) experience warpage. However,, anything my wife drives does. She tends to drive hard and brake hard. Where as I take my time, down shift and brake pretty light.

Corporate is now involved and we will see if it gets fixed. I am optimistic that they will take care of me.

Check your lug nuts also. Make sure they are only tightened to the specified torque mentioned in your manual. For 2012, it was 103 ft/lbs.

I have seen to many mechanics over-tighten them, and not to the exact same specs. As a result, you have different pressure on different points of the rotor. As a result, it may create situation where the pads don't make consistent even contact with the rotor (felt as vibration). This can lead to uneven wear on the rotor (i.e. warped), at which point it will really vibrate, especially during braking.

That is at least how my simplistic mechanical mind interprets those situations!

Finally got it back from the dealer and having the corporate techy look at it. They did put me up in an XJ loaner so it was not all bad.

They replaced all 4 rotors, 4 sets of pads, front calibers, and front brake lines/hoses. Driven approx 1000 miles in last week and so far it seems to be fixed. I am being very optimistically cautious. So a total of 10 rotors have been replaced in the last 10000 miles.

When I rec'd it back, they cleaned inside and out and filled the tank up. Corporate has called a few times to keep me in the loop and make sure I was happy. Nice touches.

Another set of warped rotors for me. Another day at the dealership (2.5 hours drive one way). Enjoyed a rain storm on the way there and back.
This is the third set in less than 15k miles. Always LR parts...
They won't go ahead and admit that they have to change the hubs. Oh well it's the second time they pay for these parts, actually third time.
I'll update you in a few thousand miles.

It has been about 2000 miles and all is still good. I feel it every so often but it may just be the road. It was not the hubs on mine but the front calipers and lines.

The front wheels are almost never dirty now with brake dust . Before, they wereally filthy within 200 miles.
