I bought an IIDTool (BT) from Island4x4 yesterday for $458.44 (£365). They raised the price from £345 to £350 very recently. Shipping was £15, so it looks like yesterday's exchange rate was £1 = $1.256...

Hope they don't jack the price up again for those of you still on the fence!

I also bought one finally. $455.87 USD (£365.00 GBP Exchange rate: 1 USD = 0.800671 GBP).

Hope it is worth it. (I don't muck with my air suspension, but I guess its a good thing to have. I was able to change my rear brake rotors without messing up the ebrake, but having the IID and the ability to put it in service mode will be good for my upcoming brake job). I guess it is my 13's warranty expiry birthday present.

The great thing about the module is that the guys behind it, besides offering top notch after sale support, just keep adding more and more useful features with every firmware release. The new "calculation free" height calibration routine for the suspensions, for example, is very cool and makes the procedure a lot faster and less intimidating than in recent past. You will not regret this purchase.

So I wait like 2+ years to buy the thing, it shows up, and then a week later goes on sale? hrmmm. figures. Depending on shipping I might have still done ok.

We did just fine. Just think of the extra $30 we paid as expedited shipping. ;)

FYI Island 4x4 still has it for £350

Current exchange rate would be $434. If shipping is still £18 = $22

$456

When you ordered from Island 4x4, how long did it take for you to receive your IIDtool? They still have the best price by far. Lucky8 wants more than GAP themselves still.

Did it travel domestically via USPS or UPS? (My door card LEDs from the UK took forever to make it through customs via USPS, where my compos were through in minutes with UPS)

I ask because I am taking my parents on a little trip to Moab in a little over a month, and I'd like it for that. (I've lived 4-5 hours from it for ten years and have never gone... I suck. Till now, I didn't have a vehicle that could handle it.)

I'm hoping taking the suspension as low as it can go in access mode will allow my mother to get in and out easier. Plus, I want to raise it up when needed of course too.

I received mine in 15 days (from date of purchase). It was shipped via Royal Mail, and delivered via USPS. I've got to say, it's probably the best purchase I've made for the LR4—I use it all the time for so many different purposes. If you ordered it soon, I have no doubt that it'll arrive before your trip to Moab. I'm antsy to get out there myself—it's been about 5 years or so for me (but, I'm in CO).

Be sure to take some pics, and have a blast!
