I know. Another tire thread. Sorry guys. I searched and searched and couldn't find an answer on this forum or any other. Seemingly due to the wheels I'm running. The 20" LR4 Landmark/HSE Silver wheels were only introduced in the "2016.5" revision of the LR4 in the last 6-8ish months or so.

I'm totally open to AT tire suggestions in general, whether it be the Coopers or others. I'm having one hell of a time finding tires that work with these wheels.

Any input on these Coopers would work without rubbing? Would they be too wide? Height doesn't *appear* to be an issue from research online.

Wheels: OEM (Landmark/HSE Silver) Wheels 20" x 8.5" (Unsure of offset, *believe* it is +47, anyone know?)

Current Tires: (OEM) Pirelli Scorpion Zeros 255/50/20 / 30.1" Diameter / 10.3" Sect. Width

Proposed Tires: Cooper Zeon LTZ 285/50/20 / 31.3" Diameter / 11.6" Sect. Width

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At front tire, check the current clearance btw tire and upper A arm. You will be adding ~ 0.65" of tire there. Also with front tire, check clearance at full lock with frame horn at rear and front inner fender well. Rear tire should not be an issue.

The tire fits, I've run them for two years now, but two things I have learned from experience.
- they will rub on the frame horns at full steering lock. This is not an issue as the frame horn is rounded, and it goes away after 5k or so miles. Just makes a noticeable noise when back out of the driveway or parking spots.
- be very careful of the wiring harness on the left inner fender. Some guys have issues with it making contact with the tire at full lock, others do not. I have not had this issue personally, but can be an expensive fix if you tear the wiring harness up.

I have about 20k on the tires and have used them in a variety of situations. They have never left me wanting for more traction. They are not great in deep snow, or really wet sticky mud. I do run a dedicated snow tire in the winter (I live in Maine so it's a must).

Hope this helps

Ended up with Nitto Terra Grappler G2s. Love them. Virtually no change to road noise and ride may have actually softened up just a hair due to increased sidewall size. They look fantastic. They did rub a bit on the driver side when at full lock on right turns at the beginning, but this went away over time. If you're going to get them, make sure you relocate the wiring harness behind the driver side tire about 6" further up from its stock resting position, else the tire will rub on it and ultimately cause major damage to it. I found a hole in the frame and was able to use a zip tie to move it into a new position. Worked like a charm.
