When I ordered my 2013 HSE Lux with HD, I am pretty sure the 20" wheels were the default. I selected 19"s and told them to change it. Later learned that might not have been best for tire choice, but whatever.. i run snows on them now anyway.

@mbw do you mean the 19's were a bad choice because of lack of tire choices or some other reason? Just curious as I am (or had been) planning to switch to 19's or 18's if possible for off road use.

The off-road tire selection for 19's is abysmal. There are only really two choices. There is a bigger selection for the 20's, but the best option by far is 18's.

This is true. I didn't really know that at the time, but am ok with it now since I have compomotives. I usually default to smallest choice because i just like more meat on the bone. If its purely for street then most would argue the large ones look better and I do agree. I did the same on my infiniti even though 20's would look better than my 17s.

@ryanjl @mbw thats what I was assuming the rational. I have begun to research the option of putting 18's for the part of the year I plan to be off road. Not yet sure how practical that might be.

Hello Everyone,
New to the forum but not to the Land Rover / off road world, and I'm loving my LR4!

Did you have the full length rails before getting the prospeed rack? There doesn't appear to be any better or lower profile solution out there. Just annoying if I have to figure out how to get the half length rails...
