The low resolution camera for the high beams assist feature is actually an inch or so away from the windshield, just below the square sensor sandwiched between rear view mirror and windshield (that one is the rain / light sensor for auto headlamps and windshield wipers.) Are you sure you don't have grime on the glass or something dangling in front of that camera lens, like a parking pass or similar? You should be able to gently wipe the lens clean with a soft wipe if it appears dirty. Does AUTO still show in the instrument cluster under the green headlamps icon? If it doesn't say AUTO anymore, perhaps the sensor was temporarily blocked as you were driving in bad weather, and the featured turned itself off as a result... Never happened to me, but then again I have never seen a "Sensor blocked" warning either, so I guess that might be possible. In that case, simply enable AHBA back from the instrument cluster's menu (press OK on the steering wheel > Vehicle Setup > High Beam Assist > Check "Activate" and "Drive on Left", or something like that...)
If none of that works, your camera / sensor may be kaput, and the fact you were driving in bad weather may just be a coincidence, as I don't see how bad weather could permanently affect or damage the sensor otherwise. Keep us posted.
