Shopping around for brakes. Anyone use ACDelco 18A2538? They're compatible as are the TRW TPC1479 pads so I know they'll install properly. Just didn't know if anyone had feedback? The only two Amazon reviews are good. $211 for pads and rotors. Sensor hasn't tripped yet so I'll re-use it.

I don't know but I can tell you I installed EBC greenstuff pads and EBC rotors and could not be happier. A little more costly but I wouldn't risk putting possible inferior products on a $55K truck. I can tell you I have NEVER driven an SUV that brakes as well as our LR4 with these pads and will never use anything else in it.

How's the brake dust? I put Greenstuff on our FFRR about five years ago and was sorely disappointed. :-/. Hoping they have improved.

There is brake dust. I've gone the route of using ceramic pads to greatly reduce the amount of brake dust on my Mercedes vehicles but it came at a much reduced braking performance cost which I don't want to compromise. I'd rather clean the wheels more often than get into an accident.
Can't speak for 5 years ago. I've had them for less than two years.

I put EBC greenstuff pads and standard EBC rotors on mine in early November. They make much less brake dust than the OEM pads and rotors that were on there before.

ill go with EBC greenstuff and regular rotors. Had drilled and slotted on my Suburban. Worked great, but I think with good pads I'll be fine without

EBC here, has been using them since my first change at 15K miles, now at 75 and changed them every 15-20K miles.

One plus aspect of Greenstuff pads is the break-in coating that removes any rotor glazing and seats the pads.

Wonder what is the rotor life with EBC Green? I know the LTS is two pads for one rotor.
