You are very welcome!

Let me know if you have any further questions and thank you for your kind words about my rover.

Now I'm also considering the Prospeed as well. Cost is higher but that thing looks like the best option of all. I need to find some short roof rails which adds to the cost unfortunately and getting it shipped to the states is pretty pricey. Thanks again.--ss

I would actually opt for the Prospeed option personally, as it's a great rack and will give you the low profile you need. It's a bit more money, but honestly, it's excellent quality.

Any idea of the cost for a long to short rail conversion required for this rack? Pondering ordering one here pretty quick.

keep in mind guys if you plan on running an awning to make sure it will fit/work with either the Prospeed brackets or that you can custom make some. I bought the Alucab ShadowAwning up at Expo West and I'm having a hard time getting that thing mounted. I bought the Prospeed brackets but the awning is so heavy that it's actually "flexing" the brackets since they are made to fold down. The pins/hinges are the culprit.
I'm going to have brackets custom built to support the shear weight of the awning :(
But once it's up there I know it will be a great addition to my Disco :)

That's a bummer. Any idea what the weight rating of the ProSpeed brackets are?

Many people have Foxwing awning with Prospeed brackets and they never complained about flexing.Other awnings may be heavier, but the market is full of good choices. Some buy two sets as four brackets is always better then two.I own the Prospeed roof rack with many accessories that I purchased as the same time to save on shipping as they were all packed inside the roof rack box on my request.I think the prices and exchange rate is the most favorable if all times , so I would not hesitate to make a jump with purchasing from UK.Thanks Brexit:rolleyes:

The exchange rate is def better but it's still not 1985's parity.

Adding more brackets is def an elegant solution if it works.

Depending where you live, Prospeed may not be the best option as they are made from steel. I had looked at a used 2013 and it had one on it (Michigan) and there was some areas of corrosion.

Thinking so. Too bad as their low profile LR3/4 rack is nice. Very low profile but with plenty of crossbars to make it stout. I think I bought one of the last ones he made. There is some ebay presence so try that?
