I have a LR3 built late 2007 but an MY08 RHD 4.0 litre V6 model purchased in Australia. The tank fuel level sensor has stop working, fuel light on. I have read heaps of threads on this and they suggest looking at the three connectors in the LH wheel well. I have taken off the wheel arch liner on the LH side and cannot find any connectors like all the pictures show. I wanted to check these connectors to see which sensor was faulty. Are the connectors in a different spot on a MY08 model.
Ideas or more pictures of what I'm missing or point me at where these connectors are as this should be the same as a UK variant

Have found these connectors - for MY08 Discovery's these connectors are not in the wheel well but are in the engine compartment above and below the LH headlight

I have found the problem - I removed the tank, then the tank centre cover. The front sensor (1) had a wire broken at the connector in the tank, on the reverse side of the cover. Re-soldered the wire to the crimp connector, checked with a multi meter and both the sensors where now reading 52 ohms which is correct for an empty tank. Put it all back together and lo and behold it works. Total time was around six hours.
Things I found out, the MY08 model is different from the book. You only need to remove one tube with the yellow connector at the rear above the axle, the other one needs just to be un clipped from the tank. two connectors at the front of the tank need to be undone (one is pressurised so be careful). The pump is not under the tank centre cover but is set to one side in the tank. There are many convoluted hoses in the tank so be careful. My tank has six bolts holding it in place (two at the front, two at the outside and one at the rear, with one near the tail-shaft). Three of these tank bolts are held in place on the guard by serrated washers to stop the bolts falling out so they only come loose and are left in place when you lower the tank.
Hardest part was getting the yellow connector cable at the rear out and then when reinstalling getting it back in the right place, I bent mine so hope it will still be okay.
