The overhead DVD unit replaces the light console.

I've never seen that on an LR4, but ok... I would need the overhead lights. Can't find the "other listing" though. I like the idea of having the CANBUS supported ballasts.

The only bulbs that will give you grief are the front door ones (hopefully this CANBUS compatible set takes care of that), you don't need special ones anywhere else.

I can confirm(or add my confirmation) that these full replacement units for the door card lights work perfectly:

http://www.powerfuluk.com/vehicles/...-4-led-door-courtesy-light-assembly-pair.html

The cheap LEDs I purchased for every other light minus vanity and glovebox, worked everywhere except the two front doors. Tried all recommended tricks to no avail.

Ordered these two from Powerful UK and just pulled out the whole unit from the clip, plugged in the replacement, closed the door and opened it again and voilà! Car was off, no tricks, they just worked. I did have to close and open each door after installing. It did not light up as soon as it was plugged in.

Did the install in the noonday sun in the parking lot at my office, but as far as I can tell so far they seem a lot brighter than the cheapos in the rear doors.

It seems worth the $42 to have everything working as it should.

Having them all round would turn the interior to the surface of the sun. (They are super bright...)

I already ordered it! :D I want them for the lower power draw and heat, but also for more light. Will be great for camping. I will try to get some good before/after pictures.

Did my cheapo Yorkim LED (20 for 19.98) install during the day so don't have good before/after pics on those. They were still brighter than the incandescent stock bulbs and feels like a clean white(6500k).

Below pic shows one of those 6500k Yorkim bulbs in the rear door card and the replacement unit in the front. The light projected on the ground tells it all for a brightness comparison. The PowerfulUK unit does seem a bit warmer than the other bulbs maybe 5000k, but still considerably better than stock.

Confirmed superbrightleds.com ones listed above with CANBUS work on front doors just installed them.
