I changed the compressor in my LR3 from the dealer sometime towards late last night. I observed this behavior since then but posting it now.

Since the change of compressor, I find my ride much less comfortable in the lower height setting (while driving at the lower speed, of course). I mean the truck bounces a little more than when it is on the normal height level. It just feels that the suspensions work better at normal height setting than access one. I must say it's not terrible but I definitely feel the difference and checked with Mrs. too to confirm my doubt.

Is that normal?

It's possible that you are more sensitive to it now because you are looking for differences since the compressor update. I have always noticed my air suspension to be stiffer at the low setting. I am guessing it just doesn't have as much range in that mode to absorb shock. Could be wrong, but as you likely typically drive in Normal, I wouldn't worry about it.
