Good video explanation.

The picture above was after a couple cans of BG 44k. I didn't understand the cleaning process at that time.

I think the trick I was looking for was in the video from BG

I'm going to disconnect the sensors while running then take off intake tubing so I can spray straight into throttle body without having the engine stall

Curious how much a shop charges for this service. Also wondering how CRC intake cleaner compares to more expensive BG products

Looks like to have a shop take off intake manifold and do elbow grease clean would be $700-$1000.

The video says not to worry if you see a cloud of black smoke from the exhaust:afraid: thats exactly what happened when I did this on our little commuter ford focus and I started freaking out a little.
