hello
Could someone with an iid tool and a 2016 LR4 please post their settings (if their TPMS system works) for the two TPMS options?

I think my tire shop changed them when they put new tires on my rims using my sensors. Suspect they want to sell me the "correct" sensors.

When I picke ud the truck after they installed the wheels and sensors they never got read and I kept getting the fault light. I checked the tire pressures and they had one at 50 lbs, another at 28 and the others in between. After proper inflation it still didn't work and the tire shop said they couldn't read the codes cuz "LR doesn't give them out until 2 yrs after the model year".

I now have a iid and was able to turn off the light but don't know WBL from DLS from a hole in the ground

Could someone please take a look and let me know what working settings are?

Many thanks

Yeah. I've used that place for 25+ years and now I think I got really screwed by them. And lied to.

I can turn the sensors back on, but I don't know what t he setting is- there are about a dozen options which is why I'm hoping someone will know.

My dealer is also just trying to sell me a new set of sensors (and that would mean taking off the wheels, breaking the bead, swapping sensors, balancing and reinstalling=$$$$)

Jeez

That place is so full of **** I bet their eyes are all brown.

There's nothing that Land Rover hasn't provided that is needed to change a freaking tire.

They may have used the wrong frequency TPMS sensors. LR4s went from 315MHz to 433MHz in 2013. I'm betting this shop either looked it up and used the wrong year or used sensors that are for some reason incompatible. The tire pressure discrepancy would be enough to have me spitting fire, but I'm a lawyer and it's what I do.

You can just reset to factory settings, which should turn the TPMS back on. Take note of what the correct TPMS settings are, and turn them off again from there if you wish. Not sure, why they aren't working, did you drive long enough with the correct pressures to get them to sync?

Mine took a couple days to reset after installing in my new wheels.

Mine have never hooked up. I settled on that it must be that my 1.25" spacers have pushed the sensors out of range. Doesn't make sense really but two sets haven't worked. And when I put the 19"s back on it hooks up immediately.

There is now have over 300 miles with the new sensors. That oughta be enough!

It's a great idea to restore factory settings (thanks, Roverman) but I can't figure out how and the manual doesn't help me. I'm going to quit dicking with it because I have to take the LR on a long trip this week and I'm afraid of screwing up more things.

The iiD is a nice tool but I'm going to need someone to walk me thru it. I still live in the machine age. I realized, this weekend, that the last time I worked on a car underneath was about 50 years ago. And yep, it was a LR. i was in eastern Anatolia and trying to remove a broken starter motor. Discovered it needed some weird wrench that had a dog-leg in it and the only thing I accomplished was gettting covered with irremovable red clay. Fortunately the LRs of that period still had hand cranks.

Help please--
2013 LR4 USA model here in Oklahoma
TPMS fault existed when I bought it
Replaced tires with new pirelli scorpion verde stock size on original factory wheels
Replaced 4 tpms sensors the oem lr066379 315 MHz sensors
Tpms light goes off at startup, then a few min later flashes 2 min then solid Amber triangle and tire
Have factory temp spare I assume not monitored
Vehicle not in warranty
VIN not covered by LR tpms recall campaign P050
Dealer to run diagnostic @ $140, then fix or advise
Results pending
Finally the question:
1. What's up? Anyone w similar experience? How did you fix it?
2. Can iiD tool turn off 2013 LR4 tpms in USA? Has anyone done that and is it worth it?
3. There is a fuse for tpms in passenger footwell--has anyone pulled it?
4. Where is tpms module, what is part no, and has anyone replaced it themselves?
Thanks, Jack
