First saw these on an LR3 on Instagram.

I don't hate them. I like how they look like the Range Rover lights. Keeps square theme throughout.

But I like the circles I have now...

Don't care for them. Looks like people making changes for the sake of making changes.

Unless there is some useful aspect, i.e. brighter back-up lights or something. Even then, though, I prefer the round.

I like them. My guess is if they originally came with them and then you showed us the "new custom round ones", nobody would like the round ones. That said, it just doesn't matter to me unless as Ryan said they did something special. If they were free, I might take them, but that's about it.

I have to see them in real life, they look pretty cool at a certain point in the video above, like around 1:00 or 1:10 into the video. Agree with others, the original round ones are ok, but they also kinda grew on me and it was not a love at first sight as they looked a bit aftermarket to begin with.

Only started looking into the tail lights, as some one brushed up good against the rear left corner of my truck while parked causing the lamp plastic to get all scratched up kinda all around, including some scuff on the bumper area right underneath the lamp as well as the left side of the license plate light plastic enclosure that houses the tailgate handle as well.

My first thought is, their a dumb waste of $. Nothing is wrong with the original which are so easy to replace bulbs when needed, and very cheaply. What happens when these low quality LED start burning out?

Money would've been better spent on a bike rack that isn't a total pain in the a$$ to use.

I'm fine with the OEM tail lights, HOWEVER,
has anyone modified the headlight LEDs on their LR4?

My 2013 has well spaced LEDs as part of the integrated running lights. I guess that's what you'd call them. In 2013 bright LEDs were still an expensive novelty, I suspect. These days, cars that use them (Tesla, Audi, Jeep, etc.) have a finer line of closely spaced LEDs. It looks nice.

Has anyone modified the LR4 headlights to "update" the LED line to a more modern look?

You can put 2014 - 2016.5 LED headlights in, but it also requires replacing the grille and bumper.

That would also get you the headlight turning off when the turn signal comes on? (I don't like that much)

That sounds like an expensive way of getting more LEDs.
Appreciate it, I hadn't noticed that there was an upgrade to 2014+ vehicles. Good to know they don't fit stock...saved me some investigation.
