Now this is a good thread for learning! I have not used it yet but have been told the latest IIDtool with bluetooth provides some system monitoring. Wondering now if coolant temp is one of the items. Would be nice to have on hand when towing and such.

I'm just using a regular old OBDII scanner via Torque Pro on my phone.

(Yes, I know I need a proper tool) :) But for now that's what I'm stuck with.

I have the entire housing, I just split it up in the interest of saving time, as well as I didn't want to get into the situation of 'Well I might as well replace that too aaaaaaaand I need another part'

You are at the stealership's mercy for keys and alignments, but everything else you can do at home or independent shops.
