Welp, hearing that lucky8 has a couple in stock, I may finally have to pull the trigger(on the rack, ladder and some accessories)...

Couple of questions @iSurfvilano if you don't mind:

Does the box the rack comes in actually fit inside the truck? (I travel too much and get everything shipped to my office since I am rarely home...)

And if you have any pics head on at eye level that would be amazing. So hard to find those online, especially with the white.

Also, you mentioned possibly having a shot from inside to show the view through the sunroof...

Rig is looking fantastic btw.

The box it comes in does not fit inside the truck. They delivered it via freight right to my home. Below are the two pics you requested, took them in the parking lot at my office. I shot the head on one slightly lower than eye level because the black windows in the background made it impossible to see the wind deflector.

Yes we do have a shop and the whole nine yards so If you were interested picking the Rack up at the very least or even have it installed we can do it all... Just give me a call we can talk about it... The only important thing to know is if I sell a part in NY in my county there will be an 8.75% sales tax.

I just discovered on the way to looking up other things that the prospeed xrs cross bars are the same diameter as Yakima (1.05”) so many of those accessories will also work on the Prospeed xrs cross bars e.g. load stops and other accessories

Best rack on the market imho. I used a front runnner for a couple years. modified it every way I could but could not get rid of the wind howl. Swapped to the prospeed this winter. Best investment made.

Finally got mine, and for the most part love it. Unfortunately two of my crossbars and bosses were mounted 4° off level and would not allow me to properly mount my batwing awning with the ProSpeed folding brackets. They sent me washers that allowed me to use crossbars that were level(the front one with the faring) and I am now sort of in business.

ProSpeed has been great to work with and they will send me a new rack, but it is all a pain. Bad QA/QC seems to be a British stereotype for a reason...

There really is no other rack as quiet, low-profile or configurable that I have seen. And I still would not by anything else all things considered.

Dear all,

I need your help before purchasing what I believe is the slickest roof rack on the market: the ProSpeed rack.
I am curious to understand if there is a solution for mounting snow skis on the rack when going to the mountains in Winter?
When contacted, ProSpeed told me to use the XRS roof rack cross bars or the XRS thule bike carrier, but I am not sure to understand how this will allow me to fix a ski mount. Do you have any experience to share when fitting your ski gear on the roof rack?

Cheers from France!

Has anyone mounted any combination of light/lightbars to the Prospeed rack? just curious. I know Prospeed as a special bar that mounts below the rack...

Were the two batwing mounts sufficient to support the awning ? I want to use mine on the prospeed as well as my D1 front runner which uses 3 mount brackets
