issue I had with the Duratrac was a damaged sidewall from an off road drive but hardly an abusive one and I was really surprised. Also the tires didn't wear very well and got super loud on the highway. Tread depth on this tire size is no where near where it is on any of the 17 and 18's. Hey what rack is that you your rig iSurfvilano?
It's a prospeed rack, and it's an amazing rack for a daily driven rig!

I ran the Duratracs before and didn't have a good time with them at all. I just switched to 18" wheels and have 4 used Cooper Zeon LTZ and 1 unused spare in 255/55/19 I'm selling cheap. Really good tire and way better than the Duratrac IMHO. And I'm in CO. Sorry I know these are not that classifieds but I can't post there until I have 50 posts on the forum.

Tires are sold. Still have four 7 spoke wheels and studless snows with only 2500-3000k on them. Wrong season but would be great for a full winter wheel set for the LR4 or 3.

My duratracs started delaminating after 2 years, the blocks began to crack and come off the tire. We first noticed the frequency vibrations in the cabin, that got me to inspect the tires off the truck and I found multiple blocks cracking at the base. Now running continental terraincontact a/t. For a month only, but a lot smoother than duratracs

I hated the duratrac that came with my LR4 when I bought it used. The tires were noisy, not good in snow, terrible off road. I cruised for several years using different street tires and only recently mounted a set of continental terraincontact. Excellent tires so far. I took them twice for weekend trip on moab and they performed extremely well. Last weekend was my first trip of the year (no more snow) on some rugged trail near Leadville, Co, and they, again, delivered an excellent ride with a lot of grip.

Reading all the posts re tire sizes on the 18" Compomotives, I'd like to hear of members speedo discrepancies if they've put on 265/65-18's. By my math 265/60-18 is the closest in diameter to'OE
255/55/19's (775mm vs 763mm) If I go to 265/65 - 18's they have a diameter of 801mm & would
be much bigger.
I'm only spending the dough on importing the Compomotives so I can run my fave BFG A/T KO2's.
My Wranglers are getting close to done & I'm about to place the order for the wheels. It seems the
best off-road rubber I can get here in Australia to fit my OE 19"s is General Grabbers, but the BFG
sidewalls are much tougher for our flinty outback roads

RobRover, I recently switched from 19's to 18's (265 65's). Using a gps speedometer app while driving and I was surprised that there was no discrepancy between my speedometer and the speed on the app?

Finally found the picture of the Goodyear tire tread. Same problem in quite a few tread blocks on all 4 tires. Never again Goodyear.....
