smashed mirror
Wifey somehow managed to shatter the driver's side mirror glass. It's heated of course (not sure if that is standard or part of the cold weather package) and it appears to have a soldered electrical connection behind the glass. Can I just buy the replacement glass or do I need the entire... -

LR3 <> LR4 mods
Thinking about push bar and sidesteps/sliders (probably wrong terms) for our Lr3. If we upgrade to Lr4 in the future, can I switch the mods over to the new truck? (same wheelbase, mounting points etc etc)? I might as well ask the reverse too: I'd love to put an Lr4 steering wheel in my 3. And... -

Ehh, the Generals are on backorder everywhere. Before I pull the trigger on the Coopers, somebody assauge me and confirm that the 285-60-18's WILL FIT on the factory 10 spoke 18's. -

Thanks. I think I've narrowed it down to the Zeons and the Grabber AT2. I like the fact the the Grabber is severe snow rated (in 285-60-18). They appear to both be competent off road,so I'm trying to find info to compare on-road noise/handling and snow traction. -

Tire fitment?
I came across an opportunity pick up a set of brand new 265-65-18's Bridgestone Duelers for next to nothing. Can I run this size on my LR3? I know the overall diameter will be slightly greater. My stock 255-60-18's are (thankfully) just about done. -

Getting Sirius in an 05 LR3
I'll have to double-check on the LR3, but usually automotive aux-in is just a mini-stereo jack; on the LR3, it's oddly located on the back of the center console, not the head unit.. Here's an option: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3335355 -

My 06 has it installed also, but in my experience with other cars, the aux port is without a doubt the way to go (FM xmitter sucks). Just go to radio shack and pick up the cable, $10. -

My spec sheet says my new-to-me LR3 has a block heater. If so, how do I use it (i.e., what type of cord and where does it plug in?) -

Re: my newly pruchased 06 LR3 SE7: the underside of the center console lid has some sort of connection/docking station. I have no idea what it is for, other than it's not for an iPod. Anyone? -

Excellent info, thank you. I do have xenons so I will hold off on the aux lights, and save up for tires instead (the dealer just put new tires on at no cost to me, and I am almost certain they are the GY's). I fully intend to attend the next available wheeler day. I have been doing HPDE... -

Probably just a resistor (POS, likely to blow up your engine). I would only use a chip from a reputable, well-known tuner, and they usually cost $400-1000. An acquaintance had his Yukon Denali 6.3 V8 tuned (ECU progrmaming + dyno), and it yielded about a 40% increase in mpg. I was hoping for... -

Will RRS wheels fit LR3?
Any issues fitting Range Rover Sport wheels to the LR3? Presumably the tires are the wrong aspect ratio, but in terms of bolt pattern, offset, etc. -

Chip aka ECU/reflash etc. Apparently there aren't any options. Bullbar would be for some light offroading, but also aesthetics, someplace to mount aux lights, and to keep my wife from bumping anything at the mall :hello:
