    I was going to Assateague Island quite often. I don't thing you'll be able to drive on the beach, at least in the MD side of the island. I passed a few fishing spots where you can drive directly on the beach but it was in DE right on the border with ocean city, MD.

    You definitely need to remove the lights to applying the tint. Looks like it's going to last long. The paint looks totally different from the regular spray paints when it's dry. As for sights by the door, i bought them first, and l liked it so much, that they inspired me to do the tails...

    On the silver maybe not so good, but better than original red and yellow. I used Nite Shades tint spray. I was going to use tint film, but it wasn't coming out good. But the spray is pretty good, dried in about 2 hours, and just one coat did a Job.

    That would be the bulb. I had the same issue on my Mercedes. Go to the dealer if you still under the warranty. If not, buy the bulb on ebay. Most likely you'll need to replace passenger side bulb too, otherwise there might be light color difference

    How do you outfit the LR3 for family vacations (gear hauling)

    Last year I bought hitch carrier/basket whatever it is called and we went to SC Myrtle Beach (12-14 hours away from me). I folded all rear seats and my wife and my tree children were comfortably sleeping at night while all our luggage was stored in the courier. It can hold up to 500 lb.

    Positive visit to the dealer

    Unfortunately you can't say that abut Albany NY dealer. After each visit I would find more stuff that needed to be taken care. Finally i stopped doing there, and the car is back to normal now.

    Radio Issue

    I had the same issue. It happened to me twice. I don't think it's a battery issue, since mine was changed last year. In my case, i had to torn of the car completely and wait till the radio display would be off. After starting the car, radio was working.

    New Brakes?

    I didn't change my brakes yet, but they getting thinner. I used to have an Audi, and on that car brake sensors were attached directly to the pads. How do you attach the brake sensors to the pads on LR3? Is there a slot on the pads?
