It sounds like you may have a bad connection or loose/broken wire somewhere. Maybe when you were poking around with the fuses something moved and the connection was restored? -

It is the 6HP26X trans. I had about 80k when I did the pan & fluid, just turned 85k today. The fluid was darker than the new stuff but didn't smell burnt. No metal chunks on the magnets, just the typical metal "slime". I did have to lift the engine on the right side, also removed the exhaust... -

I pulled the OE magnets out of the plastic pan & attached them with a little adhesive silicone (right stuff). They'd probably stay in place by themselves, but I thought a little extra adhesion couldn't hurt. -

LR3 Fault Light
Try a hard reset. Disconnect the battery, then using a jumper wire to connect the positive & negative leads for 10 - 15 min. I have no idea if this will fix the issue, but it's worth a shot. To be perfectly clear DO NOT SHORT THE BATTERY, just connect the positive and negative cables. -

Transmission Fault
Good to hear your making some progress. I was worried about the exact thing that happened to you. I ended up waterproofing the console electronics using an avaition product called ACF50. It's a thin waxy material, comes in a spray can... Awesome stuff for corrosion prevention too. -

Cold temperature operation
If it were mine I'd locate, clean & tighten all the chassis grounds plus the positive cable. Which battery did you get 6mo ago? Even though its new you might check it & the alternator as well. -

Washing LR Engine

How many years did you get out of your OEM battery?
Don't forget to check the manufacture dates when buying new batteries (or tires for that matter) My dad just bought a two year old Sears Platinum - new on the shelf. He asked the sales person for a "new" one, which they had in stock as well. So he ended up getting two batteries, one at regular... -

What do you want to do with the rack? Bikes & kayaks? Camping gear? I bought a Baja rack & have generally been happy with it, its probably better suited for camping or overlanding though. Over kill for transporting bikes. -

LR3 not accelerating properly....
Try a "hard reset" - disconnect the battery, then connect the positive & negative terminals. I used a jumper cable since the oe cables are not long enough to contact eachother. To be clear, the battery should not be any part of this procedure. Leave the cables connected for 10 min. Then... -

Urgent...burst coolant line
That's a bummer. I went out and took a look at my 05 - it's a one piece hose. It's possible that yours was repaired at some point in the past. From the looks of it you could get a barbed connector and repair it.
