    Trail Report from Moab

Thanks for the kind comments guys. The Coopers are great tires. The twisting of the rubber as i tried to cross Golden Crack was pretty amazing - I ran them at about 20 psi and they held up well. My compomotive wheels don't look so nice now with some large scratches on them. I hadn't heard about...

    Trail Report from Moab

Hey guys, A while back I asked for help from forum members about their experience with trails in Moab. It was my first time out there. I got some good info from the LR3 forum that was very helpful. I also talked with Dave at LR Flatirons who was helpful. Anyway, here are my comments on...

Journey of Discovery - LR4 specs

I had the rear tire carrier installed for me. It looked pretty tough and the installer said it was a PITA. It took them about 4 hours i think, which would translate into about 12 for me. Took me and a friend 6 to install the sliders. I have enjoyed the BajaRack, and i still think it is the best...

Journey of Discovery - LR4 specs

I tried and tried, deflating it way down, and could never get it to fit. Others say that they have but i couldn't. Plus, if it was that hard to get the tire under there, it would be near impossible to get the tire out when i most likely might need it - on a trail. So I decided to put it out...

    Moab Trail Advice

Paul - your post was very helpful. That gives me some confidence regarding those two trails. Particularly your thoughts on the tip over challenge, bath tub, and car wash. That is good to know that LR3s have been through those. Great pics by the way!! TLT - I just got the hidden winch...

    Moab Trail Advice

Guys, I will be heading out to Moab in a couple weeks and wanted to see if anyone had experience/advice on some trails out there. I plan on running Seven Mile Rim, Hell's Revenge, along with a couple days on White Rim Trail. I think I'll be fine on all these. My question is, has anyone in an...

    iPad Rear Seat Mounting Bracket

Land Rover is making one now. I saw it at my dealer the other day on one of their showroom cars. It is a really solid piece. Attaches to the two metal bars under the headrest. Is adjustable in multiple ways for the best viewing angle. But to get the green oval branded iPad mount it will set you...

I agree. I think (and have heard through the grapevine) that Devon 4x4 provided the internal winch mount and underbody protection. I have the same Devon skid plates on my LR4 and am getting the internal winch mounted as i write this.

    looking for underbody skid plates

I have a full set of underbody protection from Devon 4x4. You can check them out on their website and contact Lucky8 to purchase them here in the US. I am impressed with their quality. They are having to refit the tranny guard for the US. The one i got didn't fit right and had to grind off a...

    Searching for a roof rack

Ive had a Bajarack on the LR4 installed for almost a year now. There is a bit of wind noise on the highway, but it doesn't really bother me at all now. I got the expedition version so i could put a RTT on it. I like it, good construction, good design, looks good.
