New Tires
Tires I replaced the Conties at about 80,000Km with Michelin Latitude Tour HP. Really like them much better than the Conties. I use the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 5's for winter and they are a great winter tire, but a little loud on the highway. Current mileage is around 106000KM. -

Acceleration/braking problems anyone?
I now have over 60,000KM on my LR4, and the brakes are still fine. My dealer told me there was a bulletin out for the brake issue, that my vehicle was not affected so no action was needed. Who knows? -

Short mud run then SQUEEAAAL
I had a squeal after my time in the black goo last summer. It lasted for 50 kms or so. I think it was a pice of wood. When I changed to the snow tires I had a look and there was no scoring on the brake rotor surface, so I think it is more of an annoyance than a problem. -

My 2010LR4 came with Continentals, and yes I found them to be poor in snow. I also find most every "all season" tire I have ever had on ANY vehicle to perform poorly on snow. -

Acceleration/braking problems anyone?
On my initial test drive the LR4 did this to me. Engine revving when I pressed the brakes, and did not want to stop. I was pressing the Gas and the break at the same time. The peddles are close to each other and it is an easy mistake to make. Could this be what is happening to you?
