I put those Toyo Open Country AT3 in 255/60r19 - 31.1" Diameter on my LR4 right before I sold it - drove it for 2K miles on them.... AWESOME tires - so much better that Pirelli's or anything else... just a bit louder - but great ride. I also had the Spare in same size - had to deflate it... -

I purchased a 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro... one of the last 5.7L naturally aspirated V8's. I love the V8 engines! Not appreciating current presidents effect on my gas prices. But the Toyota is just not the same as a Land Rover though... It will be capable to do most of the things I like... -

It is correct you can just press the airline into the compression fitting if it’s clean and smooth - I put a light coat of grease and I mean light and slide it into the compression fitting -

The Atlantic British ones are OEM - fit perfectly - remember to deflate struts before you attempt to remove... don’t mess with the center one as noted by Ravi Singh in this tread... -

Sorry to hear about your accident- I thought about the method to replace the internal bag for about three seconds and purchased the complete air strut - your story reenforces that buying the entire unit complete was best decision. I like my fingers as they are :) -

I notice a clunking sound coming off curbs - will test out the braking method tomorrow... thanks for the idea. I thought about the Arnotts but went with OEM version which I think are Delphi from Atlantic British... maybe we can record how long they last? -

I replaced front valve block first - that didn’t work - then I took it to Indy shop - they couldn’t find leak in air line - they kept it overnight and probably guessed a side they thought was leaking... I could never hear it as it had to be very small leak... decided to buy pair so I didn’t... -

Just hit 100k miles and LR4 would be lowered every morning after driving it day before... knew I had leak, changed the front controller - no change - took to Indy shop here said front right strut was leaking - so I changed the pair -

After leveling truck - ride is back to like new. ILAND tool is awesome - used it to take air out of system before removing your airstruts - enabling the system and then leveling it. -
What did you do with your Lr4 Today?
I changed the front Air Struts - lots of fun! I have a 2011... air struts I took off were 2016... interesting since dealer never told me they were replaced at any time... hopefully they last longer than 5 years
