Max towing -- 2012 V8
What's the max people have done? Spec is 7,716 lbs. Is it a hitch limitation; since the 2021 Defender is listed as 8,201 lbs. Might need to move my Catalina 270 sailboat about 40 miles pretty level terrain - boat is about 6700 and another 1000 for the trailer (and add another 1000 or so) --... -

Wrangler Duratrac fit for LR4
I replaced the original tires (Continental) on my 2012 LR4 with a set of Michelins (same as dealer suggested) from Costco -- about 3/4 the price. But, Costco removes the factory applied anti-seize -- Ugh! That's their policy. I like LR prefer using it; so LR re-applied it -- Costco was good... -

2012 HSE bought 12/2011 -- 90K; only serviced at Dealer -- annually: tires, front brakes, 1 head light, two windshields, & water pump at most recent annual. Plan to run it till the wheels fall of! May consider other options to Dealer service; though my Wife has a 2018 XE, Daughter 2018... -

Muted? My 2012 LR4 HSE was muted during my 30 minute drive this morning?? Didn't drive this past weekend; but did turn the radio off during my last drive Friday evening. The only thing that was muted was the back-up warning. Everything else yes: radio, navigation, phone, voice control...
