I haven't run into one that is permanently attached sorry. AC drains were good to go it was most likely sunroof or a pillar. Life got a bit spooled up and I am hoping to get back to work on this soon. -

Got the ham radio coming. shallow mounting depth should allow for it to be mounted under the factory location for the ash tray. It also covers the grms frequency's as well so I can use it either way on the trail -

Dash came apart and after some cussing on the wiring and disconnecting the AC Drains the carpet is finally out of it. It was still wet, and there was a pint of water in the floor heat vents. It is absolutely amazing how long it held water, even with shop vac, fans, and a dehumidifier running... -

The LED interior light kit showed up today so we swapped all the bulbs out really quick and dug into the dash some more in hopes of getting the front carpet out for cleaning. -

Didn't have any carpet cleaner on hand so I used car wash soap. Certainly not perfect but one hell of an improvement. I think it cleaned up well enough to be reused in the truck. -

I did but at the time they were out of stock and the price was a lot higher for theirs. I have heard/read a few complaints of early failures as well so I went with the Dunlops from BritPart I have a long road ahead of me but so far it's been an adventure lol -

So for those playing along at home it has a little lever lock on that connector that swings down and pushes the connector free. Oonce that was loose the console popped right out. A learning point here is you don't have to really disassemble the console that much to get it out. Lid can stay on... -

Today's update was we actually got some time to work on it. That stupid headliner is finally out! There was much celebrating From there we removed a couple more pillar trims and got started on the console. It is absolutely amazing how few tools you need to get this deep into the interior... -

Found more mold obviously. Also found the padding is wet and the trucks carpets were a hot mess. That's the reason we are pulling the console tomorrow so the carpet can come out for a very good cleaning and drying out -
