Upgrade my LR3?
Get an 07 or better, fixed the undersized breaks and rotors, I think they still have the bushing issue, so if you have those replaced ALWAYS go with the upgraded POLY BUSHING! Lasts waaaay longer. Expect bushing failure and 40-50k. -

My only contribution is... stop buying new batteries, they are usually good if you trickle charge back to life if the thing sits for a long time. Next, install a battery disconnect switch if you don't drive it much, easy to install and saves your battery. Make certain you crimp the connections... -

Couple days ago after starting up, major transmission fault "F" indicated on gear indicator LCD, locked in park, could not budge the shift handle, completely disabled the truck. Disconnected the battery for a couple minutes and apparently cleared the damn thing, so far all good for now = 2006... -

Got it all done, cleaned it 2x, looked just like your posted pic, same corrosion (attached pic). Put it all back together and unfortunately....nothing still will not recognize command shift. -

Join the club, there should be a full recall for this since it cause all sorts of bad shit to happen. Its a friken joke that a vehicle like this would leak as it does. -
Electrical Issues... because of course
clicking ignition, even though the batter maybe newer have it load tested. A simple bad cell like I had can cause this. A bad battery can cause all sorts of faults, transmission faults are consistently caused by this. I had my door sensors replaced alarm would go off constantly for no reason... -

Command shift stopped working, no transmission fault message, auto shifting works perfectly fine. Slap it over to command shift...and nothing acts as if does not exist. Nothing else is impacted, all other components work. Any suggestions? Also rear parking sensors works when it hits 80... -

Agree its not a truck, however it was to replace the jeep and was inspired by the jeep, the prototype was built from the jeep chassis, but not a jeep. It is one of the last full framed SUVs. I call it my rig...SUV is just much too say. -
Intelligent stop/start able to be disabled 2015/2016?
Here is my question, and I have only rented GM vehicles that have this shitty feature. In winter time when it is -40 here, we run our cars for 10 to 15 minutes to get heat and defrosting, or you freeze your &^ts solid on the way home. Now does the damn thing turn itself off and run my battery... -

Stop/Start does absolutely nothing for gas mileage the amount of fuel used at a stop is so insignificant, it is a piss poor idea that adds a layer of complexity and again something that will malfunction and leave you sitting stranded. -

tailgate down, lift tire onto tailgate, stand on tailgate, lift tire up onto the roof rack. Reverse, stand on the roof rack and throw the tire off. (ie do not throw it in a way so it bounces back and hits your truck).
